"We have a new look!"
Our new Degree Audit Reporting System website contains all the previous website's information and documentation, along with some new features like the Calendar of Events and other System Links.
DARS - Degree Audit Reporting System - is a self-directed, automated process for tracking a student's progress toward completing an academic program (degree, diploma or certificate). DARS includes a degree audit system and an automated transfer evaluation system that produces screen, print, and web degree audits and transfer evaluation reports. DARS was developed by Jack Southard of Miami University (Ohio) and is currently implemented at all Minnesota State Colleges and Universities institutions. The University of Minnesota also uses DARS.
DARS is licensed and used by institutions large and small around the US and in Canada. In the area of degree audit reporting DARS has led the way in providing effective service to institutions and to the individual student.
CAS is a statewide, web-based, student-driven system that allows users to record previous coursework in a portfolio and get back an online transfer evaluation and program planning guide. CAS is the Course Applicability System and was developed by Miami University (Ohio). CAS is a joint project of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and the University of Minnesota.
