The 2011-2012 Curriculum Changes are posted on the DARS and mntransfer websites. The Curriculum Changes are listed for all MnSCU schools. The EXCEL documents identify new courses, dropped courses, course title changes, credit changes, and MnTC changes.
New MnTC Courses 2011-2012 is a comprehensive list of the new course with MnTC goals.
MnSCU institutions reports 1061 new courses, plus 217 new MnTC courses.
2011-2012 MnTC Curriculum Notes identifies the courses which have added or removed and MnTC goal.

CLEP (College Level Examination Program) Titles display in u.select has been updated. Additional ACE Recommended Scores for French - College Level 2, and German - College Level 2, computer format, have been added.

Century College has added FN and FW grades. The recommended UGrd symbol, GPA, Calc, Crdt, and Ct for the new grades are found on "New Grades for MnSCU Colleges and Universities". Documentation is found here.

"To Clone or not to Clone" has been revised. This document outlines the reasons and procedures for cloning programs and requirements when updating the DARwin database tables to keep up with program (catalog) changes. The revised documentation can be found here.

Revised documentation on Waiving Goal Areas in Transfer Articulation has been posted. The documentation includes instructions for waiving Goals Areas when Goals are in seperate requirements, and waiving Goals Areas when multiple Goals are within a requirement. New instructions for displaying courses used to waive a Goal Area is included. The documentation can be found here.

New documentation has been created to prevent D-graded courses in many-to-many or many-to-one articulations from fulfilling a requirement that requires a grade of 'C' or better. The documentation can be found here.

?Business Ethics and Society? has been added to the list of DSST exams. DSST standardized exams can be encoded in DARS, and is a standardized examination in u.select. The list of DSST exams is here.

Revised documentation on "Updating u.select" includes how to add a program and descriptive information to ensure that fields are properly filled in. You are encouraged to follow this documentation format when adding programs in u.select. This revised document can be found here.

Monthly audit "Web Hits" for all MnSCU institutions are now available and will be posted on a monthly basis. They will be posted under Project Reports on the left-hand menu and also directed to the Project Reports page from a link under Documentation > Web Functions > Monthly Web Hits by Campus.

New documentation has been created to show how to customize DARS processing for audits run at the time of graduation clearance, specifcally to ignore In-Progress courses not needed to meet graduation requirements. This documentation can be found here.

New documentation has been created to assist learners with hearing disabilities who may not be able to hear audio files. To accommodate people with hearing impairments, a transcript of the audio of "How to Use u.select" - Captivate Presentation is available. It is meant to be used in conjunction with the Captivate Presentation. This is in compliance with accessibility laws under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Documentation is located here.
