$Minor
If you use ST1105UG (Minor Maintenance) in ISRS with a code entered into the "minor" field, DARS will evaluate courses against that minor. For this to work, you need:
Minor codes in ST1105UG in the "minor" fields.
- The appropriate minor encoded in DARS.
Suppose you had a minor code of "ABCD" in the "minor" field in ST1105UG, and you encoded that as a program (not requirement) of "ABCD" (no spaces before or after that entry) in DARS on the program screen. - Finally, in DARS on the program (not requirement) screen for each program you would need to have the requirement "$MINOR" as one of the requirements. If you try to make it part of a group with a summary, you will probably get an error message. You do not actually have to create a requirement and/or subrequirement.
What should happen is this: Suppose you have encoded a program such as: BA 1378, and within that program as one of the requirements you had a requirement: "$MINOR".
In DARS you also had a program encoded for the minor: ABCD (no spaces before or after).
A student with a program such as BA 1378, and a minor such as ABCD on ST1105UG would then have an audit with that program. Also, part of that audit would show the minor in the exact place where youput the "$MINOR" in the BA 1378 program.
So, if you had "$MINOR" in all of your programs, and had all of your minors encoded as programs, DARS will evaluate for all minors it finds for a student on ST1105UG.
